I love you, Ralph!

My apartment is such a mess that I'd rather move than clean it.

It's gotten 10x worse since we got a cleaning lady. I guess I took her hiring as a signal that I could stop cleaning up after myself. Drew's behavior hasn't changed (since he's never been one to clean up after himself).

I've pledged to spend this evening doing dishes and laundry. So the rest of my day, leading up to those chores, needs to be a stellar good time.

I'm working for my friend Jana while she's in France visiting friends. Just manning the phones at her office on the Disney lot. Maybe a sighting of Balthazar Getty (Brothers and Sisters is filmed on the Disney lot) would make up for the shitty evening I'm going to have. If not Balthazar, then at least two of those other cute brothers. Naked.

UPDATE: No Balthazar. It's a true testament to my love (lust?) for the Lord of the Flies remake that I can overlook his current obesity and still see the beauty within. I have had fun today, though. I harassed my boyfriend at work, I read part of a bad book and part of an interesting book, I bought a coffee at the Disney commissary and I started (and discarded) a short story. Life is sweet.

Lean Joe is
a 34 year-old pediatrics resident living in Los Angeles; Drew's husband; a former Hollywood assistant and reality television story editor; a Dolly Parton fan, not actually named Joe; "lean" is debatable.
