Two years ago I got my first "Hey, wow, you're getting so OLD!" birthday card. It was from my Aunt Judy. I was turning 28.

Last night I was thinking about how this incredulous feeling I've had for the past few years (that I'm actually aging now in a way that will elicit comments from other people) will diminish over time. Because it will get tiresome and I'll just get accustomed to the whole thing.

It's odd, though. It was odd getting that card from Judy. And it was tough not calling her up and asking her what the FUCK she was thinking.
