Triangles
We started out the week dissecting something called the "anal triangle" (I'll spare you the details... I'm sure you get the idea). I thought that was a rough day, but then on Wednesday the other group had to saw through the "urogenital triangle" so we could all get a cross-sectional view of the pelvic organs. They cut through our cadaver's vagina with a saw. And we're all so caught up in trying to learn the anatomy that no one even commented on what was done to this woman's body.
Tomorrow that same group has to unwrap the head. I wonder how they'll feel looking at her face. I don't know that I'm ready to see her yet.
