BLOCK 6 FINAL EXAM: 150 QUESTIONS IN 3 HOURS.
It's not my fault that all my blog posts are about me being freaked out about some test.
I'm in med school. I'm always freaked out over some test.
And right now I'm. Freaking. Out.
Do you want to hear about that? Do I want to re-read this post years from now? Probably not.
I'M IN A PANIC. I have 1, 2, 3, 4... ugh, 5 lectures to cover and it's almost 6:00.
I have around 500 flashcards. 5-0-0. All I'm doing tomorrow is flashcards flashcards flashcards.
Yesterday I studied for eleven hours. I'm not sure if I've written about this before, but I time how long I study. I have a stopwatch and every time I get up to pee I stop it. If Drew comes and asks me a question I stop it. That way I can't lie to myself about how much procrastinating I've done. I started at 7:00am and ended at 11:00pm. That's 16 hours, meaning I took five hours-worth of breaks. But that's fine. It's required. I mean, I had to eat. And once you get into 4 or 5 straight hours of studying your retention level starts to fall and it all becomes pointless.
Today I've been more relaxed. I'm hoping to make it to 10 hours. That should leave me enough energy to put in a record-breaking 12, 13-hour day tomorrow.
What else is there to do, anyway? Watch Hillary go down the tubes? I really hope she doesn't concede tomorrow. I really hope to God he picks her as his vice president (though I'm 100% sure he won't).
My exam is in a little over 38 hours. I probably won't write again before then. I know you're bummed, because this entry was so damn riveting.
