MCAT prep kinda sorta starts
The past month has been the travel-iest month of my life. I went back to Missouri, to San Francisco, to Portland, and camping at Sequoia/King's Canyon.
Unfortunately, traveling around the country isn't going to get me a 45 on the MCAT, so today I had to start the $1600 Kaplan course I charged to my Mastercard last month. Booooo. I spent my day taking diagnostic tests covering material I haven't studied in months. It was like having an awkward run-in with an old acquaintance you just can't seem to place; I know I know this... I know I knew this... do I know this? No. No I do not know this. Over and over and over -- for 4-1/2 hours.
I rewarded myself afterwards with two handfuls of marshmallows.
Drew is in Miami for a photo shoot, so I technically have a lot of free time to study. But I really, really don't feel like studying. I feel like watching Judge Judy in my boxers. So I think I'll compromise and watch television while tearing out the 800 flashcards Kaplan mailed to me. I won't actually read said flashcards, but at least they'll be all neatly assembled and waiting when I finally decide to start studying.
